STC as an expert organization in materials science, is the main executor of works on the justification of the replacement of Russian and Soviet standards and norms of produced materials with modern European standards. 

Analytical method. This is a comparison of the characteristics and requirements for russian material specified in GOST/OST/TU with similar characteristics in the DSTU, EN, ISO standards for imported materials. 

Experimental method. It is used as a separate approach and if there is insufficient data in the analytical method. The experimental method is used for a specific product and consists in testing the imported material (which is planned to be used instead of the Russian one), taking into account the operating conditions and technical requirements.
